:: Family Organic Farm „FIGA” from Mszana is placed between Lower Beskids and Bieszczady mountains. It is in Dukla Saddle - the lowest mountain pass in the Carpathian mountains main range. Located south of Dukla in Poland and northeast of Prešov in Slovakia, the Dukla pass is acknowledged as an area where Eastern and Western Slavic cultures meet..

 

::We breed goats and process milk for traditional goat cheese.

 

 

 

 

 

:: Podkarpackie voivodeship is a very special area for nature. We have two big National Parks - linked with European Ecological Network NATURA 2000 :

   Magura national Park

and

Bieszczady National Park

 

 

:: Our farm (ap. 130 ha) is placed on both sides of very nice valley. Most of our fields are pasturages.

 

 

 

::Our fields are placed on one of the natural cleanest places in Poland.

:: Figa is the name of our first goat. She was a notty goat with black fur.

 

  

 

:: Our products (Vallachai cheese, bundz, quarks and others) are made on Carpathians traditional way. What is very important - all our products are hand made. It is a kind of guarantee of high quality in quite small production value.

 

:: 12th December 2007 - Vallachai goat cheese - natural was awarded as The Best Food Product of Podkarpackie Region'2007 (plebiscite "Tasty from Podkarpacie").

                

:: 10th October 2005 roku Vallachai goat cheese  and Traditional Goat cheese Bryndza were put to the Traditional Products of Podkarpackie List
